RANDOMNESS..........

I've been distracted lately.....sorry.  People and things have got in the way recently.  In the past I've kicked, screamed and railed against all the new forms of digital communication, from Facebook (had my arm bent and got an account about a year ago) and more recently I caved in and joined Twitter and Instagram.  I still have reservations about Twitter - are any of us REALLY that interesting?  Anyways, there are some benefits of immersing oneself in the virtual worlds of tweeting and instagraming, and for me, one of them has been to stumble across people who's work you really like. 

I think it unlikely I would have ever have know about Kate Banazi's work if not through Instagram.  You 'stumble' across people through this medium, attracted to and attracting people with similar tastes and possibly the same sense of humour. You 'like' and get 'liked', which can dash or raise one's mood within seconds.  It's crack for the ego.  Kate kept posting amazing, punchy graphic images that I instantly 'liked'.  Pretty soon I was checking out her website.  Not only would I like to have a wall filled with the eye popping colours she mixes together, I'm confident my clients will be tempted by her work too.  Here's a taste of what I'm talking about.....

And here's the spooky bit - Kate now lives in Sydney Australia after moving from London.  I live in London.  Some of her best friends in London are friends of mine. Our paths never crossed.  How random is that........it's a weird, weird, world we live in........
